The Sixth Form offers seven different BTEC courses, which are a relatively new addition to the school’s curriculum. We are in our fourth year of using The Sport Brain™. During this time we have seen many benefits of using the learning cloud. Administration of the BTEC has been made more efficient, as it helps with the overall administration of the qualification. It’s far easier than traditionally delivered BTECs, where work is printed and filed in paper format. The Sport Brain™ has enable us to go completely paperless.”

For example, when planning independent study tasks, using ready-prepared assignments, it’s easy to set assignments using the software’s tools, and students find it easy to submit assignments literally at the click of a button. “The system is easy to use. The homepage is clearly set out and it’s easy to find and work on tasks. Warning messages pop up to help you avoid submitting work accidentally and work is automatically saved, so you don’t lose work by accident. The work units are well organised and the simple lay-out makes it easy to find things to help you with the tasks and there’s lots of information to support work completion. The coloured system is helpful as it indicates what stage you’re at in the task. The resubmission process is also really simple.”
